Who we are
MO Realty Team is a real estate sales team of REAL Broker Ontario Ltd., Brokerage, registered with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO). This policy covers morealtyteam.com and the services we provide through it. It follows Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s anti spam law (CASL). Our brokerage, REAL Broker Ontario Ltd., is part of The Real Brokerage Inc. Information the brokerage itself holds, for example transaction files it keeps as our supervising brokerage, is also covered by Real’s privacy policy.

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

The calculators on this site run in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us unless you press a button that says it will be.
We never ask for your Social Insurance Number, and we do not ask about race, religion, family status or any other ground protected by Ontario’s Human Rights Code, beyond what the standard forms require.
Why we use it
- To answer you and provide the real estate services you ask for.
- To give you access to sold prices and listing history. MLS® rules (TRREB’s Virtual Office Website rules) require us to register and identify the people who see that data.
- To prepare offers, leases and rental applications you ask us to submit.
- To meet our legal duties. Under federal anti money laundering law (FINTRAC) we must verify the identity of clients in a purchase or sale and keep those records for at least five years. RECO and our brokerage also require us to keep transaction records.
- To send you market updates or listings, only if you agree. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only as needed:
- Our brokerage, REAL Broker Ontario Ltd., which supervises our work and keeps transaction records.
- The other side of a deal, when you ask us to: for example a landlord or listing agent receiving your rental application, or a lawyer or lender you choose.
- Service providers who run parts of this site for us and may only use your information to do so: Lofty (client relationship software), Netlify (website hosting and temporary file storage), Resend (email delivery), Google (email and maps) and Calendly (booking calls).
- Regulators and authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers, and our brokerage’s parent company, store data in the United States. While it is there it may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities.
How long we keep it
- Documents uploaded through our application form are sent to us by email and then deleted from the website’s storage. Unfinished applications are deleted automatically 30 days after you last edited them.
- Transaction and identity records are kept for as long as the law and our brokerage require, at least five years.
- Everything else is kept while we are working together or you keep your account, then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, or sooner if you ask. Where the law or our brokerage requires us to keep a record, a copy is kept for that purpose even after you delete your account.
How we protect it
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Account sign in uses one time email links, so we never store a password for you. Access to client files is limited to our team, and documents are not left sitting on the public website.
Cookies and your browser
We set one cookie, used only to keep you signed in to your account. Your saved searches and preferences are also kept in your browser’s storage so the site remembers them. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Third party tools we embed, such as Google Maps and Calendly, may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Your choices and rights
- See or correct the information we hold about you.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, or ask us to delete your account.
- Complain. Tell us first and we will try to fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or RECO about a registrant’s conduct.

MLS® listing data
Listing information on this site is provided by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board through PropTx and is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. It is for the personal, non commercial use of consumers with a genuine interest in buying, selling or leasing real estate, and may not be used for any other purpose.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
